Godfidence

There’s a difference between knowing what God has placed on your heart and actually doing something with it. I think about how easy it is to stay stagnant when we’re waiting for the “right” time, more clarity, or some perfect confirmation. But at some point, you have to move with what you already know.

The more connected I’ve become to God and the more I’ve tried to show up as a servant of Christ, the more liberated I’ve felt. I call it Godfidence — the kind of confidence that comes from knowing who you belong to, even when you don’t know exactly where everything is going.

Writing was one of the first ways I learned to process my life and my relationship with God. It’s why I started Finding My Nia. Now, I’m taking that same gift a step further and publishing my first poetry book, Unloved & Loved: A Poetry Collection on Healing, Becoming, and Divine Love. The book is deeply personal. It follows the journey from heartbreak and searching for love in temporary places to discovering a love that could only be found in God. It’s about grief, rejection, becoming, surrender, and learning to bloom anyway. I’m realizing that the gifts God gives us aren’t meant to sit untouched. There’s something beautiful about using what’s already in your hands.

So I’m moving. Writing. Creating. Serving. Sharing what I’m learning.

Not because I have it all figured out, but because I don’t want to waste what God gave me by being too afraid to use it. Unloved & Loved is coming soon. And in many ways, publishing it feels like another step in learning to bloom anyway.
