Moving On

Depending on the relationships I’ve been in, I had either moved on to fast or it took me some time to talk someone new. If I moved on quickly it was because I was ready to and knew there was nothing holding me back. I also had times when it would take me some months to emotionally remove myself and be in a different place mentally. Some relationships are easier to move on from more than others. It is our job to make sure that we are ready to be with someone or talk to someone new rather than jumping from one person to the other.

Some people view moving on too fast as though you never really cared for your ex, you’ve been talking to that person while you were with your ex, or you were cheating and so on. Now those things can be true but there’s also the option that the person was done with their ex’s ish, knew what they deserved and just moved on. It can honestly be that simple. When your ready to move on, don’t feel bad. You’re moving on because there was nothing left to hold on to.
