Sunday Reflection

For this very reason do your best to add goodness to your faith; to your goodness add knowledge; to your knowledge add self-control; to your self-control add endurance; to your endurance add godliness; to your godliness add Christian affection; and to your Christian affection add love.

We are constantly evolving. Our minds are maturing as we get older and we realize people aren’t perfect. Some of us expect so much of a person and for them to have it together or change into what our idea of them is. There are people in our lives that we wish were more understanding, empathetic and more honest. I’m also sure that some people think that I should be this way or that way in a sense as well. But, I know if you start by changing things within yourself then maybe you’ll see it in the people you surround yourself with. You can’t demand change from others before making changes within yourself. The change you desire must begin with you.
