Sunday Reflection

Smooth words may hide a wicked heart, just as a pretty glaze covers a clay pot. People may cover their hatred with pleasant words, but they’re deceiving you. They pretend to be kind, but don’t believe them. Their hearts are full of many evils. - Proverbs 26:23-25

It is a blessing to have good friends in your life. From the time I was in elementary to now, I have been grateful to have the friendships I do. But I can also say through the years I have come across fake friends as well. A good friend will listen to you and hear your words because they love you. A fake friend will listen and talk down to you even after you’ve opened up to them.

Fake people don’t understand they are the ones being fake because their personality is unauthentic. They preach about fake people, smile in your face and laugh with you, but are the same ones who will stop talking to you and start talking about you. Be careful of who you surround yourself with, not everyone has you best interest at heart.
