Happy is anyone who becomes wise---who comes to have understanding. – Proverbs 3:13
Becoming wise after dealing with circumstances in our lives, we have a different understanding than we did before. We realize what situations to give life to and the ones to leave alone. Basically we choose our battles. As a result of our new understanding we look at situations differently and we’ll handle our problems differently. Being wise is key because if you don’t learn the lesson you are destined to repeat it. When you understand the lesson you’ve learned, you become wiser and will not find yourself in the same situation again.
There were things I would do and say because I was naïve when I was younger, as any adolescent would. The way I would react then is different from the way I react to situations now. It’s because now I’m more mature and more experienced, with maturity and experience comes wisdom and growth. People who haven’t grown are still finding themselves battling the same issues over and over. They lack the wisdom they didn’t take from previous problems. I noticed I was going through the same obstacles over and over again not realizing I wasn’t gaining any knowledge from the last. I had to step outside myself and see where I was going wrong. I’ve happy in knowing I will make better decisions for my future because I’ve learned my lessons. Becoming wiser was the blessing.
