"Hiatus"

"It's okay to disconnect for a while." This quote resonated deeply with me as I reflected on my two-year hiatus from blogging. During that time, I grappled with personal challenges and significant life changes. Writing fluff pieces felt disingenuous, and I wasn't ready to articulate my experiences. However, I've emerged from this period with a newfound clarity, eager to share what I've learned and how I've grown.

Mental health played a pivotal role in my decision to step back. I needed space to prioritize my well-being and seek therapy—a decision that has been profoundly transformative. Through this process, my perspective has shifted, my actions have evolved, and my emotions have deepened. I refuse to compromise on the authenticity of my writing; it must resonate with meaning and truth.

My blog was born from a desire to foster authenticity, rawness, and honesty—qualities that I believe are essential in navigating life's challenges. I aim to create a space where others can find solace and understanding, knowing that they are not alone in their struggles. This journey is about community and empathy, as we navigate the complexities of our shared human experience.

Returning to writing after my hiatus, I've rediscovered my passion and purpose. To those who have followed my journey thus far, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. And to those joining me for the first time, I welcome you with open arms. Together, let's embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing—one that invites reflection, growth, and connection. Thank you for being a part of this meaningful adventure.

To truly understand thyself in freedom, we must first empty the baggage that holds us back. Only God can heal our soul.
