Finding Strength in Hebrews 13:1-8

God calls us to love one another deeply and unconditionally. Hebrews 13:1-8 reminds us that our ultimate reliance should not be on people but on Him. The promise that “God will never leave or forsake us” is a powerful reassurance of His unwavering presence and faithfulness.

I kept coming back to verse 6: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” It felt like God was speaking directly to my heart at a time when I felt defeated and overwhelmed. These verses reminded me that no matter how challenging life feels, God is always there—steady, unchanging, and faithful.

While human relationships are important, they’re imperfect. Only God provides the true stability and love we crave. As I’ve been praying for strength to keep going, this passage gave me the encouragement I didn’t know I needed. It’s a call to trust that God’s love is sufficient and to remain confident in His promises, even when life feels uncertain.

If you’re in a season where life feels heavy, I encourage you to sit with Hebrews 13:1-8. Let those words soak in. They’re a reminder to love others, yes—but also to anchor yourself in God’s unwavering presence.

Lord, continue to give me the strength to push through and the faith to trust Your plan, even when it feels hard.

Amen.
